Chocolate Factory

Camie and her Joy School group had a field trip to a chocolate factory in Glendale. It was right before Valentine's day so they were super busy making all that chocolate. They said it was their busiest holiday. The kids got to all take a turn decorating a chocolate heart with some white chocolate. They had fun and everyone got to try some chocolate. YUM!!!

Camie's 4!!!

I can't believe Camie is 4 years old. Where does the time go?! She is 4 going on 16!!! She is definitely very opinionated and knows what she wants. She amazes me everyday on what she can do. I love this little girl. Camie has been excited for her Birthday party since last year. She always talks about the decorations, friends and cake she would have. She wanted a Princess Party this year and it turned out to be really fun. We did this party on a budget and it turned out better than I thought it would. The kids had so much fun.
Here is Princess Cinderella Camie

Here are some pictures of her special day.
As the kids arrived at "Camie's Castle" they were escorted to the back yard where they began to decorate a princess/prince crown.

I got the crowns from Burger King (free) and spray painted them gold prior to the party. They decorated them with foam princess and birthday stickers.

Last weekend Steve's parents came out to see Camie and wish her a Happy Birthday because they couldn't make it to her party. While they were here we all made Camie a castle out of cardboard and paint. It turned out really cute and Camie and the kids loved it!

They played "Jasmin's Magic Carpet Ride". It's just like musical chairs but with pieces of felt as the carpet. When the music stopped the kid that was left without a carpet got to come pick a prize. Steve was the D.J. at her party. The background music was Disney movie songs and other fun songs. They did the hokey pokey and cha cha slide as well. I made a copy of the music that was played at her party and put it in the kids goodie bags.

A special apperance by Shrek!!! Steve had this costume from work so we decided to use it.

Pin the Kiss on the Ogar!! Steve got this Shrek stand-up from work a while ago and knew he would use it some day.

The kids really liked Limbo.

It got to a point where they were army crawling under the stick. Who cares about the rules of the game, they had so much fun.

Blake was such a good little boy. He just sat in that chair and was amazed by all the activities.
